Gathering Space Entry Window
Design Goals / Techniques Employed:
- New entry/gathering space was constructed to connect existing church to adjacent school
- Design was selected that incorporated Celtic knot pattern relating to church’s namesake saint
- Custom aluminum frame fabricated by J. Sussman Inc., NYC
- German antique glass as well as textured domestic and fused glass incorporated into final design
- New frame installed into opening behind existing clear thermally insulated glass, vented to interior through dry-set leaded glass perimeter
